We, the Hamburg Distilling Company, are Hamburg's answer to "handcrafted" spirits. Our crew includes the globally awarded KNUT HANSEN DRY GIN, the non-alcoholic alternative KNUT HANSEN 0,0 as well as the RON PIET PREMIUM RUM.
Founded in 2017 by two young German entrepreneurs - better known as Martin Spieker and Kaspar Hagedorn – we have quickly become one of Germany's leading gin brands with KNUT HANSEN DRY GIN. "With our own manufactory in Hamburg, a big dream has come true. The daily view of the distillery is still the best feeling," the founders enthuse. The majority of our KNUT botanicals come from Hamburg and the surrounding region. Whether it's basil, cucumber, rose petals or apples - we place great emphasis on regionality!
Our non-alcoholic KNUT HANSEN 0.0 offers the perfect alternative for a clear view in the nightly hubbub. It stands out with its unmistakable lemony taste and is ideal for non-alcoholic cocktails & long drinks.
Our bird of paradise RON PIET, on the other hand, originates in the south of Panama. The spirit is produced there in a strictly controlled and elaborate process, matured in selected bourbon barrels, and bottled in Hamburg – true to the motto "Born in Panama, raised in Hamburg". RON PIET is a unique and high-quality premium rum, born from the perfectly balanced combination of Hamburg and Panamanian expertise. It convinces with a fruity-soft aroma profile and a fine vanilla note.
